Camille Dellar's Goleta slough
Saturday, November 8, SCAPE held a paint-out with a demonstration by Camille Dellar at Goleta Beach, followed by a potluck lunch.
Camille Dellar great start on her demo piece.
Hospitality chair Jamee Aubrey made sure that everyone had a name tag, some with hilarious titles, and, on behalf of SCAPE, thanked outgoing President Donna Moser and Vice President Meggie McKenzie for their years of effort for SCAPE and presented each with beautiful big bouquets. Donna will continue on the board as co-chair of workshops, and Meggie is looking forward to having lots more time to paint.
Camille's demonstration was very informative, full of reminders and tips. Most of all it was lovely to see her light but definite touch with the paintbrush bringing a landscape to fruition. She used the palette knife like a feather. For notes on Camille's wonderful talk, email Meg Ricks, mricks1@cox.net
