Below please find a link to the recording made on January 29, 2025 Artists on Zoom demo with the illustrious Manny Lopez.

This is the first Artists on Zoom by SCAPE done outside with a model, so it is novel in those respects.  Manny quietly focuses on his work while he’s painting, so there isn’t too much talking until the end.  (We didn’t want you to think that there is something wrong with the sound.)  Enjoy!

Our Scape Climate Change Exhibit in the Fall will be benefitting the award-winning CEC (Community Environmental Council), the Los Padres Sierra Club, and an extra educational component by the CRP (Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project). This major show is slated for October 23 and 24th at the spacious downtown Community Arts Center Workshop at Garden and Ortega.  The show will be both virtual and live in accordance with current Covid attendance instructions. Natalie Wilson, our Exhibit Chair, explains, "although this is an open show...landscapes, figures, still lives, and abstracts will be accepted for jurying, special emphasis will be placed on subject matter that relates to Climate Change."  Bonnie Freeman is our Beneficiary Chair and posts suggestions for climate subjects on Scape’s monthly Newsletter with more details.  Contact:  nataliewilson555@gmail.com or bonniegoleta@cox.net
